Why bothy?
The word bothy derives from the old Scots word “boothy” which meant a small hut. By design it is always available to use as you need it. It is a place of shelter when exploring but it is also a communal space where you can meet interesting people with the same motivation for exploration. We chose ‘bothy’ as our company name as it signified a spirit of adventure, of exploring new things from a place of safety. It encapsulates our ethos of being there for you when you need us the most. Of providing the platform you need to move forwards even when the journey is uncertain. It is stability from which to grow and adapt.
